When Shannold joined MADaboutART in 2005 he'd never painted before. Encouraged by his peers, he found a 'home from home' at MAD where he could clear his head and develop his talent. Winning first prize for art changed Shannold's life and his confidence grew. Now he paints in his free time and donates his work to raise money for MADaboutART - 'MAD made me what I am, it's the least I can do'.
